I saw people in a state of desperation and hopelessness. People that have been faithful for the longest time and yet haven’t seen the hand of God manifest what He has promised.
They are obedient and commited to giving; seeking to be like Jesus in every way. Servants who have learned to love everything that comes from the Father.
I saw a pastor devoted to loving the sheep; crestfallen and tired. He had no strength and was struggling to continue waiting for God’s promises to come to pass in his life. He knew there was more of God for him and his ministry, but he couldn’t understand why there was a delay.
“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”
Habakkuk 2:3 NIV
The time of your harvest is very near. Lift up your head and keep walking, as you cannot afford to throw in the towel after all you have gone through to get to this point. Do not succumb to the thoughts in your mind saying ‘nothing will ever happen or everything’s been in vane’. That’s a big fat lie!
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9 NIV
In this side of reality everything is subjected to time, therefore, anything that is done or said starts to form a structure that eventually manifests either a good or bad outcome. It is necessary to understand the nature of how the process works in order to not fall in desperation and doubt while waiting.
“fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.”
Hebrews 12:2-3, 12 NIV
Don’t be discouraged! Keep walking in the ways of righteousness and truth. God will glorify Himself and you will witness the fulfillment of His promises in your life. Soon you will look back and smile, saying “it has been worth it to stay firm.”
““The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills.”
Amos 9:13 NIV
Receive this word in the fear of the Lord. Be Blessed!
